Headers questions (Gaskets, bolts)

Well, I asked a while ago and nobody responded. Can't turn up anything in a search.

I bought some headers used. I need the gaskets and bolts, but I don't know what size bolts or what gaskets to get. I have a '99 3.8 liter.

I was thinking about buying the exhaust manifold gaskets from AutoZone. Will those work with the headers? Any help is appreciated.

LS1 manifold bolts will work super... the official size is 5/16 -18 x 1

the manifold gaskets will work but they won't be matched. you can order new gaskets from pacesetter, if that's the brand you bought.

I'd call up the guys at CIA(saw in ur sig so I assume that's what you got) or email them and see if you can get/buy yourself a set of the gaskets they have for thier headers.

If I am not mistaken Cia doesn't have a gasket supplier and is only using paperones at the moment.
Second off I work at Advanced Auto so I am Anti-Autozone. For the gaskets find a Fel-pro or a Beck/Arnley they are good brands that most any store will have.... maybe even the zone. Mr. Gasket copper gaskets would be the best but last I saw Mr. Gasket doesn't make one for the 3.8.

BTW I also have a 99 with a 3.8 and an auto trans. let me know how the headers turn out with both sound and performance in mind. I am contimplating this addition.
