ok, im kinda torn and i hope you all can help. im THINKIN about getting a highflow air lid, BUT, the price seems rediculous. i mean, over $100 for an air box lid... come on. really, the only reason why i would get one is so i could run strait pipe to the throtle body, without having to worry about having one end oval and the other round. what REAL hp gains could i expect (look at my sig for more of an estimate). i think the price is just absurd. but if you guys say id get a bug hp increase... then ill probably get one.

with an air lid, flowmaster muffler on a Z28 I pipe (2.75/2.5") and Free ram air, i ran 14.92.
stock airbox my best was 15.22
similar 60's, i let it cool down too.

Navyblue2000 what flowmaster do u have? What size pipes? any other mods, cause that is one kick *** time, i'd like to shoot for.
