hey, i need help asap! i finished putting on my pacesetter headers yesterday, now the steering linkage is rubbing the header tube and makes the steering jerky and catch. what do i do!?

you need to adjust the steering linkage. like i said, i didnt have the problem so i dont knwo how to. but i know alot of poeple did so just give it the evening and you'll have five guys telling you how

Adjust the steering linkage...what is rubbing is the knuckle so loosen the bolt on it and move the knuckle forward till it doesn't hit and tighten the bolt down.<a href=\"http://www.onid.orst.edu/~waltejam/\" target=\"_blank\">98 Bright Red Camaro</a><br />Too many mods to list....check my website

I just grinded down the fat part of the knuckles till they didnt rub anymore. I would be careful though, if you go to far you could severly weeken your steering shaft.Msd wires,Summit coils,Cuctom CIA&longtubes 2.5inch w/side exit,Cam,Heads & Intake,30# injectors,reprogrammed computer,3400 edge Converter, 3.73\'s&LSD,Edlebrock torque arm, SLP LCA\'s,Jegs panhard bar,16 inch nittos Best ET 14.374 @94 <br />Best 60\' 1.91
