Hello I have a 3800 and manual trans installed in my 1958 mga, and need some help with an exhaust question. can any one tell me if the bolt pattern for the exhaust manifolds is the same for the front wheel drive v6 3800? how about other years of the gm line. I am having a clearance problem, and it would be helpfull to know the abover info so that i can hunt arround the junk yards for different exhaust manifolds,

    appreciate any help or suggestions

The heads are supposed to be the same for rwd and fwd, so the exhaust manifolds should fit the head ok.

You should stay within the same "series" (series 1 or series 2). Not sure on the years for that though.

    By the way, cool swap!

Well the 3800 was devolped in 88 to baout 94 and then in 95 Buick enhanced it to what we know now as the series 2. The 2 versions of the 3800 use different heads. Make sure you know the year of the engine.
