    ok...
    B4----
before i got it i couldn't easily burnout, car was real quiet, the power wasn't "push you back in your seat" performance...

    NOW -
spin tires like crazy when from a dead stop, nice LOUD (yet not too loud) rumbling sound, definitely noticable power increase (and when i put the SLP CAI in, it produced an even louder and more powerful sound) i can definitely feel my car NOT struggle to go fast anymore....

i have the quad tip one and it's FREAKING awesome i think it's the best money i've put into my car performance wise....
it's expensive but it's sure worth it

i think it was like 659+shipping
then an additional 175 for installation, when i first got it installed they used the cuplinks to attach the tips, but then the right one kept coming loose so i have to go back and get them to WELD the exhaust tips on...

A++++ will definitely buy another B&B when i buy my '02 SS when i graduate college!!!

does anyone have a soundclip of this thing.
and would anyone right out say drop the flows for b&b or has anyone ever heard both enough to say which sounds better.

thanks for all of the help guys.

I'm gonna install my B&B quad tips next weekend. If this thread is still near the top and I remember I'll let ya know how it turns out. Hopefully getting the old I pipe off the cat won't be a problem, any suggestions? Thanks

if your talking to me i havent bought one yet. im trying to learn more about them. i would hate to waste the money ive spent on the 3 inch pipe i already have. and i was wondering if the ls1 system had a bigger pipe.

don't go too big on the pipes on our 6's because you will lose too much backpressure and you NEED some! (don't remember why, but do a search)

ok all that did was confuse me, ok so 3 inch is too big but 2.5 is the same size as what stock is if im not mistaken and when i had it on a 80 series flow it sounded like a$$. ive always heard good about b&b tri flows but ive never heard anyone cmpare them to another exhaust. at one time i had heard that the b&b system is the same system that is used on the firebird gt with different tips. that got me thinking if a car company would pick this for a car it has to sound and perform pretty good. but i still want someone to compare tri flow to other exhaust systems so i can tell if this is something i want to do

3" is not to big, might as well get 3" im sure you will be adding more mods later on. no affense but why would you pay to get an exhaust put on especially as easy as the triflow, man 175.00 just for labor.

what would happen if you took the 2.5 inch i pipe replaced it with a 3 inch and used the rest of the system how would it sound and perform?
