Put the B&B triflow catback on yesterday with quad tips, gotta say its very impressive. Sounds like a stock WS6 to me. Doesn't rattle or anything either, I'd do it again. Took about an hour to install on a lift. Hardest part is cutting the old exhaust off. A definitly awesome exhaust though.

sweet this may be next for me i dont know. but waht all do you have done to your car? and does the system connect all the way to the cat or does it fall short. and do you have the stock gfx on your car cause i have heard it can be a problem to get on if you use the quad tips

whisper lid, holley power shot air filter are the only intake mods that are done, still has stock manifold header things and cat on there. the catback mates up real easily off the cat, no problems with that at all. i don't have ground effects, you might want to give B*B a call at (888)BB-Triflow and ask them if the quad tips work with gfx. hope that helps, it really is pretty awesome, hopefully i can get an mpeg of this puppy soon...anyone wanna host??

That's funny, I don't think I've seen a clip of b&b on here. I've been debating about whether to shell out the bucks for it...or just wait get a CAI and lid.
i dont think anyone has said bad about hte tri flow so i think im gonna go for it but i would like to know if anyone is using a high flow car and if so what size i know mine is a 3 inch in and out so i dont know what it will do to sound but im probably gonan keep that and my 3 inch s pipe and connect the rest of the tri flow to that. wish me luck

I have a 98 bird with the W68 package and I had to cut a little bit off of my ground effects so that the quad tips fit snug in the openings. As far as sound, everybody that compliments me about my car thinks its a V8, I always have to pop the hood to prove them wrong, and as far as the looks go, the exhaust is one of the things that gets the most compliments. I say go for it, spend the extra bucks, you wont be sorry.

i love mine (another satisfied customer) sound is great thruout the entire range, not too loud, no rasp at all (except in neutral) great looks, great fit (well i had to ghetto fab a hanger out of braided steel wire bc the right tip was 1/4 inch low and bouncing) definataley worth the money

almost forgot to say also when you had to do that ghetto fabrication cuz the tip was hanging a little low, a quick fix i learned from an exhaust guy was to get a big 18wheeler radiator hose clamp and put it around the rubber hangers, tighten it up and there ya go, works like a charm. I did this to eliminate a little wobble I had going on back there, now its snug as a bug in a rug.

how loud is this thing

its not loud when your at crusing speed, but when your accelerating and decelerating it sounds very sweet, all those V8 popping and gurgling sounds. the guy a few posts back with gfx said he had to cut into the gfx a little to make the quad tips fit. i got the quad tips, they look mean, will post pics soon and an mpeg if wanted.
