if he reduced it. The sound quality wouldn't be as good and you don't want that.

Click here, then click on "flowmaster1" to hear my car. By the way that is just not a flowmaster on a stock pipe, that is a full 3inch catback with a catco high-flow cat. ;)

Ok they're all small...sound quality not compromised but the video is (who cares about video)

            Normal Takeoff (2200rpm upshift)

Starting the car with a cold engine

            Roll out and then WOT

I don't have a flowmaster but I personally think the catback system is the best thing going for our cars right now. I've heard many different exhaust systems. I finally heard the flowmaster in person on Toast's car. We did a few drivebys and from outside of the car driving by me regularly it sounds like an LS1 with maybee an aftermarket exhaust. WOT it still gets a little raspy which is gonna be the nature of the v6 no matter which exhaust you have but coming down me and him both agree it sounds like a 5.0. In person is definatley going to be a lot different then what you hear on the clips.

Dominic's flowmaster clip is the best sounding exhaust clip I've ever heard IMO.

You opened a can of worms with this thread. HEY MODS.....can we get a "How does the Flowmaster sound" sticky thread? Seems like it's asked a bunch. Does the search function still work? :D And for the record, I think the 80 series sounds like crap! Too raspy/rice

are you nuts! Seriously...I just listened to the quality and it's yuck. No offense to ya Dominic! I'm not saying mine is the greatest there is, but I certainly thing there are better sounding ones than ours.

I'll let someone else be the judge. However, my opinion still stands.

I think the flowmaster is the best thing to have on the 3.8. Listen to my clip above and you be the jugde.

Well I figured I would put mine as an example of what Flowmaster can sound like. It's more raspy at the top end with the cat off but it pulls a lot harder. Here's my page: http://www.geocities.com/ttop34/Exhaust.html
