o2 Simulator question

I recently got a 3" hi-flow cat installed in my car with the o2 sensor put back in the car, and 3 weeks later, the SES light came on :mad: . Both the dealership and the muffler shop told me that the only way to fix the problem Permanently is to get the stock catalytic converter back in my car. Well, the muffler shop had already sold my catalytic converter, and buying a new one from the dealership will cost $500! I've been researching on the internet and I found something called an o2 simulator that could possibilily fix my problem, but I can't get a straight answer on what it really does. Can anyone help me with my problem? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Yep, that's what you need. Me and you both. It's suppose to trick your computer showing your cat is working properly or something like that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. zzperformance sells em for around 38 bucks. I've resetted my computer about a dozen times, because I've been to cheap to buy one.

hey if you were to keep on driving with the SES light and you know for a fact it's from the hi flow cat, is it bad to leave it on? (the light that is)

Ive had a issue with my RK O2 sim throwing codes. And its not supposed ot be a cheap one. I had to put the O2 sensor back to keep it from throwing codes long enough to get it inspected.
