• SLP Quad Exhaust

I was wondering about the SLP quad exhaust tips....Do they just hook up to any exhaust? I'm also wondering why I haven't seen any more then I have on the internet. Are there any problems with them that you guys know of? If anyone has any pics of these on their camaro hook me up.

and by the way im new

I'd appreciate some help if anyone knows.

Oh and by the way I emailed some guy at SLP. I asked him about the loudmouth exhaust with these tips. He said that I could hook it up with a v6 if there was an experianced exhaust shop in the area...but he said he didn't know if it would sound too good on a v6.

Your y pipe is 3" and the loudmouth is a 3"
so get a 3"in 3"out cat .I'de go with the magnaflow cat.

Thanks a lot.

So let me get this straight before ordering. I am to get a 3" in/out high flow cat, "quad exhaust system, 1998-02 Z-28 incl Loud Mouth Exhaust, and the "Installation Kit 1993-95 LT-1 F-Car"

Is all this right?
I really appreciate any help.

That should be all you need. but that lt1 install kit is $70 bucks. I just ordered a mandrel bent piece of u pipe from jegs for like 10 bucks and cut it in half and made an S-pipe out of it. the best place to get a cat is ebay. i just got my magnaflow 3in in/out for 63 bucks shipped the its a magnaflow 94000 series. but when i put my cat on i got an Service engine light. so you may need to buy a 02 sim for it.

And if you buy an O2 simulator, buy one from Casper's electronics. They seem to have the only one that reliably works.

Alright cool. I appreciate it. I thought that 02 sims only had to be put on with headers. =/ Oh well Ill hope for the best.

Actually, your car has four oxygen sensors. One on each header, and one before and after the catalytic convertor. If you go with a high flow catylitic convertor, there is a possibility you will fail emissions (depending on area) and/or throw a Service Engine Soon light. It might be safe just to count on buying the O2 simulators.

Nope, three O2 sensors, two before and one after. LS1's have four.

I have the SLP quad tips on my "frankenstein" exhaust, they look really nice, they have the etched SLP logo on them too. I bought them off of ebay for $40.00. Couldnt find polished stainless tips that were classy for less than that.
