  • Pacesetter Q...

I have everything installed but did you guys have a problem with the middle spark plug on the passenger side? I couldn't get the 4 cylinder plug cable to attach because of pipe construction. Did you all have problems with this and where can I get L plugs. Also the valve on driver side front doesn't go in. I think the workmanship in the headers isn't quality.

You need L shaped plug ends.
I am assuming that by "valve" you mean EGR tube, it will go in, you may need to do a little grinding or something, to get it to fit, then just make a gasket from some ULTRA COPPER RTV.

Trick on installing back your EGR connection without a LEAK!

Unbolt the EGR housing from the block and the thermostat housing off the block. Bolt the EGR hose to the EGR fitting first(header), then bolt the EGR housing back to the block and then put the thermostat housing back on the block also. Make sure everything is tight back to OE specs. Taa-Daa! No leaks, THE END. ;)

For the passenger side, use the 5/8" spark plug socket. BUT don't use the socket wrench, use an open end wrench to turn it. This is how I have to do mine to avoid cracking it. Works great!

And what do you mean by they are not quality? Poor welds? Only half-way coated?

All try the other EGR method. By quality I mean, the 4 cylinder spark plug shouldn't have to be that hard to get at. But everything is on and EGR is in but did anyone find it hard to put a spark plug on the passenger middle cylinder. Mine is hitting the header and melting it where are good plugs that
