• re:air flow?

does any one know about the question in the lounge's "air flow" post, cause i did that too, removed the covers under the front end to get at the turn signals, and left them off?
thanks

no, there is more air flow now, would this make a cooling problem, or can rocks get in there now, or too much water:(

well let see, more air would help with cooling but i really dought there is a bunch of air coming up through the hole. water could get up there if you went through a water puddle as high as you nose but other than that, not really. rocks maybe if it was bouncing on the road at the time and unlucky went in the hole. but very unlikly. wait a second, if you went through a big puddle, the water might hit the wheel and push up which might go in the hole so i would say its a good idea to put it back on. GM engineers arent stupid. they have that car the way it is for a reason ;)

Hmm, then maybe I should put my air silencer and stock air lid back on ;)

Leave them there they won't give you airflow if anything they will be an aerodynamic drag or get no air at all due to the aerodynamics of the car. The air dam under the car is all the help you need for cooling purposes (please don't tell me you removed that ...).
