  • Mufflex 4' Exhaust Good or plain Bad??

I was looking over at the ftforce website and saw the Mufflex 4' exhaust, which you've guys probably already seen. So i was wondering is it a good mod or just bad. Since I have yet to heard anyone in here with a Mufflex I'm wondering what you guys think. :D

    Here's the link Ftforce

agreed. there is no reason to go over 3" for your exhaust.

While it would probably sound like crap, it would certainly be the best flowing catback you could have. This would be the next best thing to a cutout.

I would go with an electronic cutout over that with how bad that catback will probably sound.

my buddy had it on his modded TA. on deceleration there is alot of drone and interior noise. but i think it is over kill for a v6.

What is you had forced induction and the state required mufflers?

ok, do you know how loud a 4" will be? if your state requires a muffler im sure they will say that one is too loud, hell the LM is too loud most places. if you are smart about where you use the electronic cutout you will be safer than if you had the 4" system. Also the cutout would be much better for an FI application.

Sounds awesome on a cammed LT4, but don't think it would be the right system for a 6. 4" Mufflex needs _volume_.
