I'm lookin' at getting some new headers and I've heard a lot of really good things about the clear image automotive headers. I'm a lil' confused though. I went to their website but I can't find the headers to fit my car(96 3.8 Camaro). I found a picture but no description or price or anything. Can someone help me out please?

it's on there, u just gotta look for it. I think they're around 600 for the headers. I'd get a camshaft b4 u get headers, cuz u won't be pushing enough air through the engine 2 get much of a gain out of the headers. i figure u'll get maybe 5-10 hp at the top end, and maybe 5 tq, and probly a loss of tq at the low-end. for ur car, RKSport headers would probly be better, and cheaper, but u have to get the collectors and y-pipe welded together so u don't get any leaks.

      Unforgiven,

When I e-mailed the guys at CIA about infor on their product, here's what the sent me:

quote:
The header primaries are 1 1/2" into 2 1/2" collectors. They are a 3 into 1 design. The Y-pipe is dual 2 1/2" from the collectors into a single 3" pipe to fit to your converter/exhaust system. Hand-cut gaskets are now available so the total cost for all nuts, bolts, header/collector gaskets with shipping is $695.00 delivered. The headers are satin ceramic coating inside and out and the Y-pipe is available for the Manual or automatic transmission.

If you do a search, you'll see these are the most expensive, but are undoubtedly the best. If you plan on doing future upgrades such as N20 or a blower, then you will definitely want these.

The RK sport ones will require some welding to make them work, and the jury is still out on the pacesetters (I'm not even sure if they are available yet).

      Hope this helps.
Not a problem, just a challenge...
