I would think #1 would be best. definitly the cheapest and flowmaster 80 sounds really good on a 3.4. borla and loud mouth are alot more expensive and i doubt would sound much if any better. on a v8 yes, but on a 6, i'd stick with flowmaster and use the extra couple $100 you save for other mods

beware, i have heard that anything with a 3inch i-pipe on a 3.4 looses lots of backpressure and kills your low end. at most go with 2.75". I still say to stick with the flowmaster though. its by far the cheapest, and sounds almost as nice, if not the same.

I wouldn't worry...
I am running stock z28 catback(imo sounds better then Flowmaster, I have had both) 2.75 in. i-pipe and waaaaaay to much backpressure then I am used to but i have a cutout setup I mainly put this on to give me lots of lowend and midrange for autocrossing, and so my car was considered legal on the road.
I have been thinking of trying to make some recordings of my new setup, I prefer it waaaaayy over flowmaster if you are going by sound. And bang for the buck... wins hands down I got this catback free jsut had to pick it up.
I have a 3" I pipe and I didn't seem to loose any backpressure. It helps top end- where the 3.4 needs help. If you put on a FIPK or Moroso intake everything should balance out nicely. Plus the 3" pipe makes it very deep at idle. Dynomax doesn't get ricey at all, but if you want it to be loud, I'd say go with the flowmaster.

its true what he said, when I installed the 80 on my 3.4 I just put the left pipe on,the car was pretty loud but I lost alot of low end pressure.then later when I installed the right pipe its much better :D
