  • smell question????

I had a dynomax super turbo put on my 3.4L camaro like 3,000+ miles ago. It had that break in smell for a while but went away. All of a sudden, today, that exhaust break-in smell came back. could it be my cat starting to go bad?? i dont have a clue why that smells back.. any suggestion??

My guess would be the dreaded "rotten egg" smell. I just had my cat removed completely, along w/ blocking off the egr. Heh, good thing they dont do inspections here or I would be screwed.

Its a hard smell to explain, i smelt it for a while after i have my dynomax muffler put on. Ill try to explain, its like that smell you get the the light coating of oil or whatever it is on the muffler is burning off. I dunno how else to explain it
