Mufflers are more of a personal preference. I have a spintech on my car with factory exhaust rest of the way to the engine. I have never heard it on the outside, but when I roll down my window and listen, I think that it sounds nice. The only thing is that from what I can hear from the inside of the car is that the sound seems kinda high pitched. I think that I might go for a Edelbrock next, just remember about that $150, it has a lifetime warranty. But I am missing the V8 sound, so I think that I am going to have to ditch the six.

I'll throw in a vote for magnaflow. Kinda quiet, especially since I installed the I pipe, but very deep. I have a sound clip on my website. (The clip is from before the I-Pipe) Now it is a little quieter, much deeper, and doesn't get too nasty in the high RPMS...
Check it out on my page in the sig.
Good Luck.

I'd say Dynomax also..i've had flowmasters and edelbrook and magnaflow (always trying to find the most pickup)
Dynomax is by far the cheapest...but in its case..you get more than you paid for.
Dynomax super turbos give great pick up and aren't that loud, you can't really tell you have a high flow muffler until you've gotten high on the RPMs.
But if performance is you're looking for and you aren't worried about it being too loud etc, I'm running Dynomax Bullet Race mufflers, They are really loud, they only quiet the exhaust by 8 dB (Dynomax's figures)...but you're pretty much gonna be running no back pressure on the muffler end of the exhaust. I have Rksport headers and a rksport catback, which feed into a 4 in inlet/outlet Bullet....considering that most catback are 3 inch outlets, jumping to a 4 inch to 5 inch inlet muffler...youre not getting much back pressure...espically if the muffler is a straight pipe thats 4 or 5 inches all the way through from inlet to outlet :-D
Sorry if I ramble
Flo-Pro makes a nice heavy gauge Aluminized steel muffler that sounds a bit loud until it warms to operating temp, then mellows. I had one installed with 2.5" mandrel bent pipes at a local shop for $125. Hmmm! Sounds good after it warms and feels like it pulls harder.
