Is the Flowmaster 80 series the best exhaust system for a V6? Also, what size pipes do you all recommend? 2.5"? 3"? I can have them custom made and fit however I want them. Basically, I'm trying to find the best exhaust to buy, and will have the rest done for me. Any suggestion?

Flowmaster is good bang for the buck. I love the sound it has on my 3.8. I would go with the 2.5 if your upgraded the piping. The 3.0 you want have enough backpressure and your end up losing power. The 2.5 should be good expessly if you continue to mod.

I believe a Flowmaster 80 series purchased seperately without any pipes is only $80. Anyone else know this? I'm gonna go with 2.5 dual exhaust. Any other suggestions that would help me out?

I got the 80 series dual out. However, I lost low end torque. I regained some using underdrive pulleys and a CAI.

I am thinking going with a single out is better... Anyone out there with a different opinion?
