You do one modification and then the next thing you know is the modifications just seem to keep growing. I just keep thinking of more and more modifications to do. I just ordered the Whisper air lid today from www.SLPracing.com . . I'll post pictures after I install it. I think the next modification is going to be the Taylor Spiro-Pro Wires(I know this isn't the topic for this, but any input on the best ignition wires would be appreciated). You can never have to many modifications!
What's your next modification?
2000 Red Camaro
5-speed manual
Custom SLP Floor Mats
BMR Shock Tower Brace
Whisper Air Lid with K&N Air Filter
SLP \"Ultra-Z\" Hood (best modification so far)
http://community.webshots.com/user/camaro246
Lid and CAI within this month (I can't believe I've had this car almost nine months and still haven't gotten around to it).
I'd been planning on saving up for gears in March/april, but decided to go with the B&B exhaust. (I like the 40 Delta-sounds sweet, yet mellow in the lower range-but it gets a little hollow in the upper rpms, I now want something that's going to sound good in all). That is if I can get rid of the heatshield rattle that's crept up on me within the last couple of weeks
Normally, its done: exhaust first, then CAI. But I want to see how the CAI will affect the flowmaster, if it will at all.
I got into cars too late, so my dad'll need to help me with some of this. Lately though I've been helping (if this is considered "helping": "Hand me the wrench...no, the wrench...no, not that thing..." lol) him on his engine rebuild.
Damn, we all picked an expensive hobby, you know. Forget gears and lsd, they'll come much later.
