Just had my setup upgraded from the 2.25" to 3" all the way through the cat. I did the U-bend trick for the S-pipe and worked great according yo my mechanic.
Sounds pretty sweet, went with the 3" dynomax pipes from Advance, 3in/out Catco Cat, my SLP rear section and a 3" S-pipe. So far I like it a lot, deep down low and sounds like a tuned V6 in the higher RPMs.
I would reccomend to anyone looking for great sound and looks and not much resonance.
I lost no low end torque, if anything, I gained all over the powerband, the trottle response is a ton better than before.
