no sucking sound with SLP CAI

Is this "sound" only from the tube slp CAI?? Or can u hear it with the newer version for the 98 and later models??

get rid of the air baffles on the lid and you'll get the same effect. I dunno if just a CAI would do it on the 98+ because...well I put the aftermarket lid on after the FTRA. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

why is it loud at idle.. it's just a scoop going into the car.. shouldn't you only hear it whe nyou're driving and cold air is actually entering the metal scoop?

I Think part of it has to do with whether or not you have a K&N filter as well.
