Ram air attempt...

I was thinking today about knocking the covers out of my hood and allowing them to be open and actually make venting for a ram air through them, and probably going with an SS hood later and also ram-air that. Anyone make a kit for this already? Or is this something thats just going to be a pain in my arse.. If anything else I'll probably drill the holes through so it actually vents and just use it for added air flow over the top of the engine.

This is more of a pain in the *** than it is worth i suggest not doing anything with those vents at all and just save up for a ram air hood to do it right. BTW ram air isnt really much if any better than a cold air intake, so if you dont care about looks just put a cold air intake on instead.

I dont care too much about resale value in anyway. I did think about picking up the SS ram air hood. I'm kind pondering on the idea now, if I do a cold air intake I'll just order the SLP kit for it, pain in the arse to install but... I like to do stuff extremely unique.

ahahahahha we did this to my friends v6 mustang!!! its retarded and pointless. dont do it trust me it seems like a good idea but its dumb lol. and think about when it rains ?? what happens to your engine then?? crack a header maybe ?? go for i dont care u say u have an ss anyways
