thanks all. Sorry 97rs4life didn't know about the pic thing my bad. Yea the install wasn't bad at all the pic's are hard to see at least mine were due to the fact they were copies. But overall very easy.

Got my SLP induction package today. It was in my room when i got home from work so i decided to install it today. Took about 4 hours... friggin plastic screws kicked my *** But it yielded in the end and its all done with. Pretty pleased with myself... i have never really done any sort of work on a car before, so yea. Took her for a quick spin... maybe a longer one tonight.

Ohh I can't wait to install mine, I'm not sure about you 3.8 guys, but I have to unbolt my radiator and move it so I can get my intake down where it's supposed to be... Friend told me easiest to pull my bumper and fender off, figure I'll do that.

you dont need to do that. the tube style for the 3.4 cant be that different than the similar style for the 96-97. the only things you need to remove besides the old intake are the splash guard near the tire and the radiator support.

Its not a total remove of the radiator, its identical to the 93 Z-28, infact its the same part, you jsut unbolt the radiator and slide it to the passanger side place the intake in and slide the radiator back.

You can see the directions on Slp's website...

I didn't have to take anything off when I did mine. It only took me abouta hour to so that plactic part is kind of a bi!*h to get off. But once it was off it was pretty simple.

As far as performance gains I noticed a big gain once I installed it. Because it's getting more air. And the engine can breathe better.
