i paid 225 for my old flowmaster catback on my 3.4. sounded pretty good. but for the T/A i want something that few people have on a lt1. so Rumbler all the way. from what ive heard it sounds exactly like loudmouth without all the rasp.

i'd like to get the loudmouth, but i cant justify spending 400 bucks + install kill 60bucks for something that isnt going to add more than 10rwhp.

i dont know why everyone hates the flowmaster. yes i agree when revving in nuetral it isnt the greatest sounding exhaust ever but when driving past it sounds pretty good. not too loud be enough that you can hear it and it has a good tone. thats my opinion and a lot of people that have the flowmaster share this view.

The LM and even the rumbler (to a point) will rasp. And also the best bang for the buck is a 3" I-Pipe and cutout not a full catback.

"ill never understand why people always want borla. its overpriced. best bang for your buck is the TSP rumbler."

It's simple, Borla is stainless steel and million mile warranty. Although I didn't care for the tips.

cause flowmaster is designed to improve backpressure and increase hp and gas mileage, not as worried about the sound... where as magna is more worried about sound

maybe so. but until i see borla produce more hp than any other system that is damn near half the cost, ill stand by my statement of overpriced, over-rated. ill take the cheaper FTW. ;)
