  • Exhaust question for JET Performance Chip upgrade

I am interested in getting the JET Performance Chip ugrade for my car, but do not know if my exhaust is a low restriction exhaust or not..

I ordered the catback kit using the Flowmaster 80 series 5" muffler recently, so that will be my exhaust... is that low restriction or not?

What does low restriction mean anyway?

Yes, you can get the stage 2 jet chip with this exhaust I am pretty sure. It is less restricitive (or allows exhaust to flow out of the engine better) than the stock I pipe and muffler setup. You might also want to look into a highflow catalytic converter <---not real sure about that. The stage 2 also comes with a 160 degree thermostat that you are supposed to install. I dont know why or how, but I am just telling you what I know. Good luck, we both have the same exhaust system now!
