exhaust questions

hey ya alll can ya help me out with a few questions....1. i was looking at getting an exhaust cut out...my question is how does it work and how loud is it when it is open and what are the performance gains?? next i am also looking at getting a catco cat, i have the 2 1/2 inch flowmatser kit going into my stock 2.25 inch cat, whic cat should i get for best hp/tourque and sound??? also i have the slp cold air indution and im wondering what the ram air upgrade kits gives me besides the blokc off plate, i know this is alot but i think ya all for any help....

I have the ram air kit made by fasttoys...from wat I gather the two kits are identical when u buy the slp cold air induction and the uprade kit.

The Fasttoys kit just has the main peice (the only thing that comes /w the slp kit) and a block off plate to prevent water gettin sucked in...and a long metal plate that goes in front of the radatator and connects to the bottom of the main peice and end on the plastic splash guard...basiclly diverting the air up into the cold air intake

I like my cutout, but I covered it up after a while. It sounds REALLY good at low RPM's, but sounds terrible at high RPM's. As for performance gains, I swear I could feel a difference, but that might just be me. I suppose I have to live with the fact that our 6 bangers don't sound good no matter what we do to them. :(
