Well a little while ago i put a straight pipe on my car to replace the cat and in doing so, the welder melted the wires to the O2 sensor. So the service light immidiately turned on after that, so i decided to order an O2 simulator from Summit Racing. Well i got it today and put it on and mounted down there, everything fit fine and connected, so i did the OBDII reader we have at jiffy lube and cleared the code and went for a drive and about 30 min. later my light went back on. So i went to a friends and reset my computer by the battery cable and turned my car back on and my lights still on! Any ideas? Ill get the code read to make sure its the O2 tomorrow, but until then do u guys have any explinations for this?

Fist of all, what year is your car and what engine do you have?
What O2 sim did you get?
What wires did it burn? If it burned the wires on the car's side of that connector, they'd still be fried.Matt
