  • Magnaflow tips (want to replace them)

Hey everyone. I sort of posted this before... but I am really tired of looking at my boring Magnaflow 3.5 inch tips. I wanted to know if this is a good idea-
I have some good looking tips in the garage. I wanted to cut off my magnaflow tips, replace with an equal length 2.5 inch pipe, and then put the tips on that are in my garage. Can I use a universal (clamp-style) hanger to hang this? A local garage used a universal clamp (same style I am thinking of) to sort of pull up my exhaust more so it wouldnt hit the axle and make that dumb clunking noise.

Or, if thats a real ****ty idea (which i dont think would be the best)... how about-

Is there anywhere that I can buy the pipe that comes out of the muffler itself?

Any ideas or links please let me know. I would have cut off parts of the stock rear section I have in my shed but the hangers were cut off (I bought it used)
