Ok so i had rattaling problem found out it was the 02 sensor so i replaced it and the problem is gone. But i still have a thud every time i go down a bumpy road.It sounds like the exhust is nocking. I had a hanger missing awhile back but had it replaced and it still knocks has anyone had this problem? Is there anything else that it could be ??

dang near every person with an aftermarket exhaust has a problem like yours. what i would guess off the top of my head is the over-axle pipe is being hit or is hitting the axle when it moves up. look for some signs on the pipe for rubbing or anything and go from there. you might have to have the exhaust lifted further up at an exhaust shop.
EDIT: I can't spell for crap when im half asleep

what kind of exhaust do you have? If u have flowmaster catback, id put money that its resonator on it. check your tunnel brace too and your transmission support brace. and the over axel part. the stock hangers i had were junk, i put in stronger ones and my exhaust stays put, no movement at all.Black 1996 3.8 Firebird T5, SLP CAI, Pacesetter Ceramic Headers,160* t-stat, PCMforLess Tune, Flowmaster American Thunder catback, Car Sounds Cat, custom s-pipe, MSD coils and wires, NGK plugs, 3.42 posi rear, B&M Ripper, 245/50 BFG-G-force's

Ok' I just got this figured out it turns out that when i originaly had my cat replaced. They forgot to put the hanger back. which caused my exhaust to sag in the middle overtime with the weight of the cat and the daliy driving without that hanger. So what was happing was that the bolt on the exhaust clamp was hitting the suport brace under it evertime i went over a bump of any kind. Which would have never happined if it hadnt strated saggin. So all that need to be done was to turn the clamp sideways and push the exhust up alittil. thanks for all the advice
