  • which muffler is right for me?

i'm going to have a custom dual exhaust put on this summer and i'm looking a good muffler. it must have a good, deep tone. it must be loud (not so that i get a ticket) and it can't sound like a ricer or have too much rasp.

    a couple i've thought about...

    Flowtech Afterburner

    Dynomax Thrush Magnum Glasspack

i'm not sure how exactly that glasspack would sound. i'm open to suggestions.

i've listened to some clips and i love the sound of the SLP loudmouth, so i'm looking for something similar. not that kit though...

true duals or what? true duals are going to be alot louder than a catback, id put cats on it to help keep the rasp down, you could go with 2 glass packs ( one in each of the I pipes ) and then 2 dynomax bullets after the axel. im sure it'd still be loud.keep in mind, its a v6, its ALWAYS going to rasp.

whoops, i should have specified. after the cat i will have the pipe split into two mufflers. i'm not putting on headers or tinkering with all the oxygen sensors. i'll consider the Dynomax Bullit mufflers too. the most trust in which muffler will go to the guy who's doing the exhaust, since he has a lot of knowledge in the area. i have till june to make up my mind anyway.
