Looking into getting a flowmaster. I dont want the noise inside to be too loud. How bad is it?

In low rpm I think it sounds good. But above 4000 rpm I think it starts to sound a little ricey. But yea, you will know you have an aftermarket muffler but you will never go deaf riding around either. I beleive it would also depend on the series you got. I have the 80 series.95 Firebird
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/673250
http://photobucket.com/albums/y217/andrewbrandon19/

me on a good day------> linky

Come on down to AIS and you will find something you will like. I would even let you ride in my car to see if you like the flowmaster.95 Firebird
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/673250
http://photobucket.com/albums/y217/andrewbrandon19/

me on a good day------> linky

Thanks for the input. I was just worried that it will get on my nerves after a while. I wish I knew somebody close by that had it so I could listen. I guess I will just have to take the chance.2002 Camaro...It\'s not very fast but it looks good.

I have a flowmaster 80 series, and I love it. I've only had my dual about 2 months, but it added some "oomph" and GREAT sound to my car.
My girlfriend has a firebird 3.4, she just got the 80 series installed on hers also. I can barely hear hers inside the car, but outside it's really nice. Mine on the other hand has a lot of sound on the inside, so I think it depends on the car it is in too.Manning

Flowmaster duals, SLP CAI, CF Whisper high-flow lid, K&N filter, Eibach springs (Sportline), CF rear lights.

The flow master are great for our cars but here are a few thigns that have an effect on the way they sound, most notorious, interior drone & raspy high RPMs;
Headers, Hi-flow Cat, Resonator, and Air Intake
will change the tone of your exhaust and minimize droning as well as the raspiness. I know this because to me the droning was just not funny after a while. you know you put the radio way up to be able to hear it then when you slow down then the radio is too loud. also mine becomes more quiet as speed increases. well that just my two cents on the flowmaster sound I know I love mines they sound tough!
