95-02 3.8L V6 - they need one car from each year. Car must be stock from the cat forward, with stock emissions equipment.

Your car will spend one to one and a half weeks at their place in Phoenix. They take great care of the car, and may not even log miles on it. For that, your choice of free headers or exhaust.

Hmmm... its a tempting thought, but is there really much of a power increase compared to the stock tubular manifolds?

long tubes will give you serious gains since they enhance scavaging i think. ls1's generally see major gains from it like at least 20rwhp

now dont quote me on anything since i'm not an expert..

man I wish I lived there, Id give them my car even if I had to walk to work everyday. Supposedly long tubes are alot better than shorties, I guess time will tell!

I guess sales of the shorties have been pretty good for them to look into producing long tubes. I wish other companies would look at how much money in stuff us v6ers buy.

Are the Current Pacesetter Headers Shorties? They don't look that small.

IF Pacesetter makes Longtubes, how long would it take for them to be on the market?

longtubes would be way better than the shorty's they have now, ideally they need to have about 35-38" primaries but i bet they wont be that long, im saving for some headers right now but if this comes true ill have to wait!!

I personally wouldn't consider the current pacesetter headers shorties, if you've ever seen a true set of shorties I think you'll agree. The current pacesetters are more like mid-lengths as they descend to the bottom of the engine bay but don't actually come under the cabin.

I agree, longtubes would be the best setup! If there's a guarenteed product line coming from them for these, then I guess I'll wait too.

They know my number, but I don't think I want to drop my car off for a week again. The free headers and install were nice, but i dunno. Plus longtube probably won't be legal in AZ anyhow.

AZ: I'm declining for mostly the same reasons. I'd love longtubes, and to help out the V^ as a whole, but with no spare car, leaving mine a couple hours away for over a week is a pretty steep price.

Maybe I can get them to do it over Christmas. I'll drop my car off, fly out of Phoenix to Buffalo, then pick it up when I get back..

how much better would long tubes be for a forced induction car. im just curious if the wait would be worth it or not.

I am in the same boat here. They wanted to do some testing on my car for a catback system also, but I am done with the exhaust setup, so I will pass the chance to someone else.
