  • Got my new cat on!

Ok well this is the story, (I have a 3inch catback flowmaster by the way). It all started with a catco, the few weeks I had it on there I hit a fairly large rock and it wrecked it. I wasn't at all impressed by the sound of it, nor the quality of it. I figured if its that cheap it must be a cheap product right? Well anyway I went with a carsound cat last july. I didn't have any problems with it at all. But a month ago I was rear ended and it kind of knocked my exhaust around a little bit. Since it's kinda cold I just noticed that my carsound was crushed all inside. And I have a business trip tomorrow. So our bodyshop just supplemented the damages and we took it to a guy that does our exhaust work. I could of got the money and ordered a new cat, (for the price of a stocker, i could of got a random tech) but the thing is I need to leave tomorrow so I just said i'll be fine with anything. They put on a OEM cat which cost about $180 just for it. I was kind of afraid to hear what my car sounds like. But you know what? It sounds exactly the same. Maybee a barely even noticeable difference. But my old whole getup was a little bit too loud and obnoxious for my taste anyway. All in all i'm pretty pleased with it.

PS. I figured since i'm not going 12s anytime soon it's not gonna be too much of a life or death situation on the diff. flow rates of the cats, lol.
