I just purcahsed a magnaflow system for a 3.8 98+ bird, but I was told it would fit on 93-97's. I will take it to a shop this weekend and try and get it on alogn with my mangaflow cat.
I will let you know hwo it sounds, as far as looks, i've seen many pics of it, I think it looks great.2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6 <br />M6, Magnaflow\'s 14336<br /><a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/v6purplebird\" target=\"_blank\">C6 Pics</a><br /><br />Old car:<br />1996 Firebird A4<br />SLP Cold Air Intake<br />Magnaflow Catback Exhaust<br />Magnaflow Catalytic Converter<br /><br />George Mason University<br />CEIE Major<br />Pi Kappa Alpha<br /><br /><a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/nsolano\" target=\"_blank\">Firebird Pics </a>

Well, don't know about the 93-97, but I have the 2.5" system on my '02. The only thing I didn't like about it was those huge 18" 3.5"D tips, so I had them replaced with less conspicuous 12" 3"D tips.

Hey guy's i'm pretty much new here. Signed up awhile ago but didn't really have time to come on. I just put on a magnaflow system last night. It looks good and sounds pretty good. I thought i got a pretty good deal on it. All the pipes and mufler with crome tips installed for $300. Is that a good deal?99 camaro... WingsWest body kit, Billet grill, EBC Green Stuff break pads, tint\'s all the way around, magnaflow exhaust, ram air, Rebuilt trans, 3300 stall, and RS 3 alarm. I have just put on the magnaflow muffler and i swear it is possibly the best sound out of a stock v6 i have ever heard. Clean, crist, no rasp at high or low rpm's, kinda quiet at idle, moderately loud with a medium deep sound to it, and i have noticed power gaines also.Mods List:FREE ram air mod,FREE air lid smoothing mod,Air silencer removal,K&N Filter,Magna Flow Exhaust. cat delete, 3.42 + lsd.2600 stall tc,alto red eagle complete tranny rebuild.

Mine is going on tuesday, but for $300 bucks or so because they have to custom fit the pipes over the axles since the system I bought was for a 98+ fbod and the guy said its more than the hangers that needs to make it fit.
well this is 300 for cat and the exhaust welded, so i guess its not too bad.2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6 <br />M6, Magnaflow\'s 14336<br /><a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/v6purplebird\" target=\"_blank\">C6 Pics</a><br /><br />Old car:<br />1996 Firebird A4<br />SLP Cold Air Intake<br />Magnaflow Catback Exhaust<br />Magnaflow Catalytic Converter<br /><br />George Mason University<br />CEIE Major<br />Pi Kappa Alpha<br /><br /><a href=\"http://members.cardomain.com/nsolano\" target=\"_blank\">Firebird Pics </a>

I just put the exhaust of a 98+ SS (they came with magnaflow stock? this one was magnaflow) on my car last night it was basically bolt on, I didn't have to change anything (except my piping was smaller than the SS's so really my pipe just barely fit inside the other so i slide it inside a tad then welded the joint, just as the pipe went over the axle and came back down and turned flat again on the front side of the axle)... I removed my cat so i don't know if it's that or just the way that exuast sounds but it sounds great until i let off on the gas and then it sounded raspy (was still up on jacks and higher rpms didn't rasp)... but like i said, I removed my cat (put a cutoff in place), that might have to do with the rasp i'm getting...
Price? FREEBIE! FREEBIE! FREEBIE! (as they say on monster garage) buddy got a new exhaust on his SS, so my dad and i welded her up last night, i'm gonna drive her in a bit, (yawn) just got up :D
