If you have the Y87 pacakge your muffler is the same and the car will not sound any different. The main part of changing to a V8 exhaust is the 2.75" I-pipe. I wouldn't worry about just the muffler, especially at that price. You can get an entire V8 catback for less than that. Check the V8 forums, they get practically thrown away over there.1996 Camaro w/ Y87 package. T-Tops, purple, loaded. I have the SLP muffler and Z28 tips that came with my 02 RS (true RS) that gives an extra 5 hp.
