    I want to go from my stock cat back, what is the best Edelbrock system to get?? Are there even different applications for my 99 3.8??

    from what i've found they dont actually make anything for 98+. i heard that u need to get the one for the 95-97 3.8L but i may be lieing. its what i'm going with anywayz. i know a 2000 who put it on so i know it works

      The catback for the 95-97 3.8L will work, but keep in mind it constricts from 3" to 2.25" to mate with the stock cat. Theoretically it is this 2.25" constriction you're trying to eliminate to begin with to gain power.

      So with that being the case the optimal exhaust to buy is the 93-95 Single Cat LT1 system, which is 3" all the way back. In this case you will need a new 3" cat as well, which simply bolts right onto the stock Y-pipe like OEM [img]smile.gif[/img] .
