Ok, know that it's been confirmed that we have a dual walled y-pipe (on the 3.8s), does anybody know what the diameter of the inner pipe is, and does anybody know if the LT-1 single cat y-pipes have the same design, or are open to 3"?

I'd like to know this also. I have a rattle too and thought it might be the cat but the more I think about it I think it could be the Y Pipe. Does it rattle all the time or is it only at certain RPMs? Anyways, I'm going to the junk yard to look for an LT1 I pipe and if the Y Pipe would work maybe that's I'll just get it all. With the LT1 y-pipe, you will need to have new flanges welded on. Yes, I just had it done.
