I read that you need to extend your sensor wires to make the sensor, from what I see on my engine it needs to be logner cause the sensor from the elbow is far from the throttle body.
What kind of wires shoudl I get so I can install it correctly??
do I just need regular wires from radio shack??
maybe a specific gauge, thanks
ok I hope i dont run into any problems tomorrow, or else i have to run to radio shack to get some wire. I just read that somewhere thast all.
but not sure waht gauge they use.
i just ran into this over the weekend when putting my CAI in, i got it to reach but looked at the wires in case i needed to splice it. Looks like 14 gauge to me. 16 would probably work just as well.

on mine, i just pulled the wires for the sensor away from the other wires they were bundled with. if you would like to lengthen the wire im sure both 14 and 16 would work fine. i didnt have to stretch the wire, i just pulled it straight and it fit fine, i didnt have to pull on it or anything. if you have to tug on it its best to lengthen the wire.
thanks guys, I installed it yesterday and the wires did fit. I had to brake a little bit of loom off but just stretching it a little was fine.
I am glad I didn't have to splice anything.
One thing that bothers me, there is this circuit box on top of the old intake silencer. when I took the silencer off, the box is now loose and makes noises when I go on bumps.
Is there any other spot I could try and tape it to so it fits??
I have it just tucked next to the intake at this point.
