Why does my car feel faster with the stock cat on?

Long story short, my carsound got messed up from a rearend accident so I just got it replaced with a brand new OEM cat. It feels light years faster now! Is it because it has more backpressure?

this is just a guess,
but, with more back pressure, u prolly have ur power band lower down now, so it feels quicker off the line, but may die off earlier in the upper rpms, so it may just be a placebo affect, and maybe overall it may be slightly slower than with a high flow?

It didn't "make" power down low - it only adjusted the torque curve which put the torque in the lower RPMs... Thats why the butt dyno thinks its faster ;)

Dude man, I don't know whats going on. For a few weeks now i've been battling these dang virus/trojans. I usually don't let that stuff get onto this computer but unfortunatley, i'm not the only user either. For a while my internet connection was lost. Now I got all of them off of here and I can't log onto any messenger services. But I still can access the internet. I really don't know what the deal is? I've been trying everyday for the past 2 weeks to fix this **** now. I've looked at all the network connections and settings, ran tons of virus programs and that stuff, I really don't see what the problem is, I can connect to other programs through tcp/ip, but I just can't connect to AIM or AOL it's weird?
