  • new exhaust needed!

i was wondering what kind of exhaust i would want to get. i'm looking for preformance and sound. i'm really looking to get flowmasters (40 series), but i was wondering if there is an other type that i should be saving up for.

my big plan is to get a new high flow-cat, cut-off and a new exhaust system. really don't want to spend over 300$ for it all. do you guys have any ideas? every idea is welcomed!

it also might help if i told you what kind of car i'm talking about. ;D

    it's a 95 3.4l camaro. everything's stock except the intake (K&N).

if you looking for a cat-back system you wont find one under $400-$500, you should put a cutout...

hteres a thing called an I pipe that comes between the cat and the muffler. a rear section only has no I pipe, but a cat back goes from teh cat back, imagine that....save your money and get B&B, it flows&sounds great

Don't spend $400 to $600 for a catback. Just buy the muffler you want, and the tips you want. Let an exhaust shop do the piping for you. (Or better yet get the piping between the cat and the muffler off a used v8.)

My whole setup ran me $345 total with installation (Only $220 for parts)
