Im considering buying a good exhaust for my 3800 Camaro. I want something alot more bigger sounding then this stock exhaust. I know I may not get all the rasp out but thats my goal, to get as much as I can. I want a nice deep sound and from the last couple clips that I've been listing to, the 80series sounds the best. Im wondering If I should go with pacesetter headers also and run 2. 2 1/2" pipes back into a dual inlet dual outlet 80series. Or I could just go with the single in and dual out. Also in the future I plan to put in auto cutouts. Anyone that has done this or could help me out, I would be very greatfull, seth

I had an exhaust shop put on a flow 80, chrome tips, and I pipe. It was $250 including parts and labor.
It sounds good. really throaty at idle, but it gives you a highway drone at around 2200 RPM. it does have a nascar sound when you floor it, especially when you floor it all the way up to 6000.
for $250 the flowmaster 80 was well worth it. I'd say get it.

Don't forget about the Dynomax Super Turbo. That muffler sounds real nice and clean and will get little rasp at all. In my auto when I punch it all the way in first which is about 5000-5500 rpms if I'm not mistaken, it sounded good and no rasp at all. Then again I have an auto so I don't get into the rasp range with that muffler. It is a little lower priced last time I checked too, but the performance you get from it will be noticable. Shop around too and see what else there is to offer. I don't think anybody has put a dynomax clip. Just Dynomax All my opinion. i have the 80 series muffler on my car, with a 2.5 inch piping from the cat till just over the rear axle then it goes to 3" piping into the flowmaster and out dual 3" to 3.5" echo chambers. it sounds mean. but if you remove your air silencer it gives the exhaust note as well as your engine a nice rumble under moderate acceleration.-----2k pewter camaro A4-----------
*Rk Sport Ram Air
*Bypassed Air Silencer
*2.5\" to 3\" cat-back exhaust
*3.42 LSD
*Racing Strips, rims, carbon fiber grill, painted interior
