for a 3.8 the best deals out there runnin right now are:
SLP Cold Air Induction (Air Intake) $200 - www.slponline.com
and
Edelbrock Cat Back for Camaros with 3.8 - www.summitracing.com (type it in their search - edelbrock catback camaro 3.8) $243
Those are the best price-wise, n the Edelbrock is said to sound real nice, very little rice if any at all, and a great name and warranty backing it. Ill be getting one soon probably. Just my recommendations, try searching for some sound files of it on here if you'd like to hear it.1997 Camaro RS - Polo Green<br /> Y87 Performance Package<br /> 80 Series Flowmaster <br /> Homemade CAI<br /> B&M Transpak Stage II

I got the flowmaster catback made for the 3.8 for my 96 camaro and it sounds awesome I am really impressed. also popular hot rod tested it and it gave them 11hp to the wheels. it cost 271.00 but I really like it. I am wanting a intake but $200 is sort of expensive I think I might try to make my own. good luck.white 1996 camaro 3800: flowmaster American thunder cat back. hypertech 160* stat, and manual fan switch

i have the free ram air/cold air/modify lower airbox mod, whisperer lid, k&N filter, no maf screen, CIA headers, cutout, no cat, 2.75" i-pipe, 3" in 2.5" dual out flowmaster 80 series with SLP dual dual tips, sounds good, real deep down low not to raspy on top, real loud...

Whisper lid, k&n, ported nostrils..... cheaper than SLP's and only major difference is the point that air is brought in isn't lower.00\' firebird v6 5spd<br />201rwhp ---- 230 rwtq<br />\"Everyday I grow stronger...and further from you.\"<br />WARNING: Do not take any of my comments seriously unless they are technical in nature and then only at your own risk

isnt the whisper lid for 98 and up? what are ported nostrils? I will probably endup getting the SLP intake. but it just seems expensive for a short pipe and two filters.I think it is because they know they have us by the balls since they are like the only one to make an intake for are car.white 1996 camaro 3800: flowmaster American thunder cat back. hypertech 160* stat, and manual fan switch
