  • Good Airbox Sealer

I don't think my Whisper Lid is sealed correctly, and I'd like to buy some more foam strip material (sticky on one side) to make the seal better. Can anyone recommend a good brand to buy and where to buy it?

Would 3M weatherstriping be good to seal it with? http://www.3m.com/us/auto_marine_aer...pages/ws.jhtml

If you're talking about the seal for the inside top of the lid, you can get that from K & N. Just go on the web site and send them an email saying you need the seal for the inside of the air lid. That's what I did, and they sent me two for no charge, not even shipping.

I bought some rubber roam from Home Depot and sealed the hell out of my airbox. I just want to make sure that there isn't any reason why I couldn't use that stuff.

Has anyone else used rubber foam strips?
