  • 2000 Camaro Lid Fitment

so I have been searching for this for a while, but I can't seem to find anything.

I am new here by the way.

I want to get a lid for my car. I like the SLP one. Now my question is aside from the outlet on the lid being in the center, and our throttle bodies being off to the side, is there any physical difference in lid size? I could get one for really cheap, but I have to act fast.

Thanks in advance for any help you all may yield.

Some people have gotten it to fit. Just have to wait for them to chime in.

the outlet on the lids for v6s are off center to line up with the throttle body. the one from slp is a v8 lid, which is centered. and the aftermarket lid is physically a little bit taller and doesn't have the little baffles in it.

i bought a suncoast creations hood called "the raptor". a little lower profile w/ two oval slots.

i've got to modify the air box - keep you informed.

i like it better than any other hood i've found. check it out at suncoastcreations.com

i'm getting it painted - i'll post pictures when i'm done.
