Pictures of the ceramic-metallic coating from pacesetter as installed on my car.

    Drivers side...

    Passenger Side...

    Y-Pipe...
    HERE

Keep in mind that I have had these for a week or two and I spent the last few days doing other work to the car, so they got all dusty and I didn't clean them first. But you get the idea.

I'm trying to get the new cat and S pipe made...how far from the front weld on the cat does the y pipe start. Any pics would be sweet too.

What would you say was the bigger PITA, removing the stock exhaust manifolds or bolting up the headers?
Any tips on removing the stock manifolds???

I normally would have installed them, but in this case it got done for me for free, so I watched instead...

Removing the stock manifolds gave him the most trouble. Particularly the heat sheilds.

I would mark and remove all plugs and wires first. Remove the starter heat sheild too. (Put it back when your done though). Thats about it.

The guy took the manifolds off from the top and put the new headers in from the bottom. He said it may have been easier to do it all from the bottom, but he just did it that way because he was already working on top.

Thanx! I need some tips because my headers should be on the way in a few weeks.

I'm working on it right now....PITA...just make sure you have a 10mm wrench and socket. I've been working for a few hours and have yet to get a manifold off.

I didn't install them, like I said. I got to watch. It was a nice change. But I didn't watch him take the old stuff off. But I know it took him 2X-3X as long to get the old stuff off, than to put the new stuff on.
