I have a 1995 3.4 bird, and i was wondering if it is wort removing the maf screen, are the gains noticable, and does anyone have directions (W/pics if possible)

From what I understand, It's not good to do to pre`99 F-bodies. I remember seeing that a few times. Screws up the idle or something.

it's not really a screen to protect the MAF. It is an air straightener, it's designed to straighten the airflow so that the MAF can get a proper reading. Many people that have removed it have had problems with their cars idling rough after the removal. This is due to the air not flowing properly pass the MAF, and instead it swerls around giving a bad reading. I did it on my 98 firebird. It made the idle sound kinda cool for like a minute, but then i guess the computer got used to it, because it went back to normal.
