  • Exhaust Crunk/Rattle/Buzz on takeoff

Ok, lately my exhaust has started rattling and buzzing, etc. Nothing is hitting, I simply thing that hte hangers they used and the way they put it up is what is doing it. Currently I have the rings around the exhaust, and metal pieces which are bolted to the frame. Is ther any better type of exhaust holder which will hold and not rattle all the time?

    -Justin

P.S. I got these thinking that they would hold better since the last 2 welded hangers both broke off in the last year.

I have the same thing, but I put hose clamps around the rubber loops. They still keep it quiet inside, but they are mounted very firmly and the exhaust barely moves. Once they are on for a while, they kind of "set", and they dont fall off.
