I hear about this cat back system more than anything else in any message board. Some say it is not good for v-6. Some say it is. Some say it says crappy. My question is that just how much of a gain or loss of power is lost going to a 3" on the loudmouth. Is it low end than the top end?. Is it better just going to a cat back intended for v-6 like Borla or B&B.? Help me out guys?. :(

I just ordered mine, hoping for it sounding like Rich's system, and not Scott's. I am however emulating mine exactly like Rich's, instead of obviously doing what Scott did.
Rich said he felt no loss in lowend power, if anything there was a gain all around.
I guess I'll let you know how mine sounds next week. He didnt mean it personally - let the guy try it out.
I am wondering if the current SLP Loudmouth is a cheap imitation of what the old one was...2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

No problems here.
I have one of hte "newer" loudmouth exhaust systems. Got nothing but compliments, stares, questions, and surprises at the Atlanta Gathering. I'm thinking something is much different between mine and Scott's car (other than the cat itself maybe) - after all, they're different cars.
I don't know. Not one person has said anything negative whatsoever about my car after having heard it. It's weird that Scott's turned out like it did.
Oh well...let me know how it sounds!@

Probably, will let you all know.
I'll be running the same exact exhaust set up as Rich, from manifolds to the catback, only difference is intake where he has SLP CAI and I have the free ram air. Shouldn't be very different.
It should be here on Monday, and installed Tuesday, I'll be posting videos.AIM: escalier deverre
\'02 Pearl Blue Metallic RSX-S (daily driver)
\'98 Black Firebird
98 V6 turbocharged to 02 LS1 swap
\'02 LS1/4L60E
LS6 Block, LS6 Intake Manifold, Thunder Racing 215/220 .600/.523/115 Cam, Titanium Retainers, Crane Double Valve Springs, 125 shot NX Wet Kit w/ NOS brand Purge, True Dual \"H\" Pipe w/ two chambers and dumps, 17x11(rear) and 17x9.5(front) Black Powdercoated ZR1 Replicas on 315 and 275 BFGoodrich Comp T/A\'s (Street)/ET Drags/Skinnies on Weldlites(Track), 3.42/LSD
