• Headers in the way of steering !!

Okay so I did a search and I found that many others had the same problem. But my question is what am I suppose to loosen up, the knuckle or the whole steering assembly? Because I took it back to the shop and he said that adjusting the linkage is "IMPOSSIBLE" . I filed it a little but I'm afraid I might mess up my steering.

    Thanks.

Here's a Pic of my Problem

Right behind the knuckle is a bolt. Loosen it. Use a long screw driver or something to pry the knuckle as far forward as you can.

That is all I had to do. Some ppl still had to grind on the knuckle to get it to clear. Others have put dents in the primary to let the knuckle clear. But I would suggest grinding on the knuckle over doing that.

Be careful when you slide that knuckle forward. It is possible to slide it too far forward and have the gears bind up.

I just grinded mine down so there's no more rubbing.
