Can someone do me a favor and measure the resistance of the heater circuit on their manifold (not cat) O2 sensor? It would be very nice of you to do! I need to take a nice digital multimeter to the store and do it to a new one, but if anyone happens to have an O2 sensor out or in the box, and a multimeter, I'm dyin' to know the resistance. I'm simulating the circuit with a resistor.

After reading http://www.asashop.org/autoinc/dec2002/mech.cfm
I guess I'll go with a 5 ohm (and then a 10 ohm if the 5 doesn't work) 10 or 20 W (yes, large if it'll put thru 1.5 friggin' amps) resistor. We'll see this winter, I guess. No testing time just yet.
Are you attempting to make your own sims? If so, I might be needing sims and all the info i can get will help.

There are many many sites about making your own sims -- I stumbled on a few wiring diagrams when I was searching for heater circuit stuff. I'm not making a sim, but I'm simulating a heater circuit on a primary sensor. Hnestly, amking your own prolly costs about $20, which is what I just paid for a used one.
