  • 1/4th exspectations?

Considering that i am running a 15.5 stock, what do you all think that i can run all other things equal with-
    1)FTRA
    2)K&N filter
    3)Port & Polished TB
    4)RK sports headers
    5)Magnaflow cats
    6)Magnaflow cat back
    7)3.42 gears
Just wondering if anyone knows what i can exspect to run with these basic bolt ons, or what someone is running that has this basic set up and simalar driving abilities.

are you basing the 15.5 off of a 1/8mile time? or an actual 1/4mile time?

Off of my 1/8th, the guy said that it was more like a 15.47 but 15.5 sounds better.

You sure he said 15.47....cause it works out to be more like 15.67.

my formula says a 9.90 1/8th is a 15.50-15.54...this formula figures w/in .03 of my best 1/8th adn quarter time also so a 15.5 is about right

All that money and still only pulling a high 14? That is homo, i thought our cars would respond better to basic bolt ons. O well.

wtf happened to my reply? or half the replies on this thread for that matter.

3.23s to 3.42s is worthless... go bigger. 3.73s at least.

I know a bunch of shopes that will do it for me, for cheap to, but i decied that i am not going to. And i dont want 3.73s they make your gears to close together, I like crusing a low rpms when i am on the freeway, and from what i hear they hurt you freeway mpgs.
